also please recomend any spotting scopes for target shooting at 50 to 120 yards
thanks
* Yes, excellent choice.* I like mine.* Mine is a Sears Brand I bought at a yard sale for $10.00 Dollars.* Works Great.*
A spotting scope for 50-120 yards?! Hmmm. I would recommend a pair of 8-12X binoculars instead of a spotting scope. At that short of a range, a spotting scope would be like using a .300 Win Mag to shoot chipmunks. Save yourself some major coin.
Had a decent spotter that came w/ 3 eyepieces & a tripod
Think the max was 60X , but it had a large objective lens.
Used it for shooting .22s indoors @ 50′ & for largebore at 1 & 200 yds
Looking around & have found new ones on e bay for less than $ 75.
You can spend your lungs for a top quality scope but all you really need to is see the hole & the scoring ring.
Best regards.
