Is the Leupold 12-40×60mm HD see alot farther and clearer then the sequoia 20-60×80?

regular tripods are too tall for prone position.
The bottom of the spotting scope has a plate and I want one that has a receiver for the plate to just slide in to… I guess that is called the “head” of the tripod?
