I am willing to spend $400 on one, I just want to make sure I get what I pay for. It will be used for scouting elk in Colorado. I really want something that is good low light conditions. If anybody has any good comments about one they own, I would really enjoy your input. Thanks.
Leupold makes good optics and their Sequoia line is right in your price range. When you figure out which you want check out Cabelas.com, Bass Pro Shops.com, MidwayUSA.com, and Optics Planet.com
I have a Nikon that I use up north that the clarity will spoil you.
I would recommend water proof and shock proof.
And my Nikon has a lifetime warranty,
Get the Leupold. They are light, powerful and rugged. There are other decent ones out there, but compare them side by side and most folks will pick the Leupold. If you want something more it will cost you significantly more than $400.
